The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach will return with a new solo album in the Spring of 2017, as Rolling Stone reports.

The untitled effort marks his first solo album since 2009 (Auerbach recently released a record as a part of The Arcs) and features bassist Dave Roe, drummer Gene Christman and pianist Bobby Wood backing the guitarist.

Auerbach crafted the record in Nashville, writing wiht the likes of John Prine and David “Fergie” Ferguson, ultimately emerging with around 60 songs including a tribute to Rick Rubin and a tune that features guitarist Mark Knopfler.

“I learned so much from these guys,” Auerbach told Rolling Stone of his recording mates. He also called the album “a whole history of everything I love about music.”
