Widespread Panic hit the stage at the Ryman Auditorium last night for a special show benefitting Toys for Tots. The acoustic, seated show saw the band dip into a number of their originals, including a JoJo Hermann solo performance of “Imitation Leather Shoes,” as well as a couple of unique covers in the encore.

Among them, Jimmy Cliff’s “Many Rivers to Cross,” which made its 2016 Panic debut. The band previously covered the song in 2012 during their acoustic Wood Tour, which found them touring various intimate venues across the country. The group brought the Wood Tour to the Ryman in 2014.

Joining the Jimmy Cliff classic in the encore was Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home,” which they covered with Steve Winwood at Lockn’ in 2014.

Widespread Panic will get their New Year’s run going tonight at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
