Railroad Earth welcomed 2017 with a show at Revolution Hall in Portland, OR, this past weekend, treating fans to a three-set affair featuring mostly band originals and a few choice covers.

The countdown to midnight came near the beginning of set number three, just after the band ran through their rendition of The Beatles’ “Across the Universe.” For their first tune of 2017, RRE debuted their version of the traditional “Let Your Light Shine On Me” before bringing out another debut in David Bowie’s classic “Young Americans.” The band would later round out the night with an encore of their eponymous “Railroad Earth.”
