Progressive rock titans King Crimson will reportedly tour in 2017, according to founder Robert Fripp in an entry on his website.

“King Crimson’s 2017 touring will be mostly in the U.S.,” Fripp wrote. Fripp noted that the touring route will start out west, in Seattle, and then travel down the West Coast during early June to July before visiting the East Coast in the fall.

As for the lineup, Fripp is dubbing this iteration of the band the “Double Quartet Formation,” including himself, Tony Levin, Mel Collins, Jakko Jaksyk and four drummers: Bill Rieflin, Gavin Harrison, Pat Mastelotto and Jeremy Stacey.

Dates are forthcoming for the band’s first jaunt since 2014.
