The Shins appeared on Chris Thile’s A Prairie Home Companion yesterday just days after announcing their new record Heartworms due out March 10.

The band took the time to debut a new song, “The Fear,” which closes the record, the band’s first since 2012’s Port of Morrow. James Mercer and the New Mexico rockers previously debuted new song “Dead Alive” to coincide with the album’s announcement.
