As previously reported, U2 will embark on a 30th anniversary tour to celebrate their landmark album The Joshua Tree with a host of dates beginning in May that will also include a headlining slot at this year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, whose lineup will be released January 11.

The Joshua Tree tour will kick off on May 12 in Vancouver and take the group through North America until July, when they will cross the pond and perform a select run of shows with special guests Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. Joining the band during their North American run will be Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and OneRepublic on select dates as noted below.

“One of the greatest albums ever made,” Mumford & Sons said in a statement. “It’s a record that did so much for us all when we discovered it individually and if ever a record stands the test of time its that one.” Gallagher added that it will be “both a pleasure and an honor to play my part in what still remains the greatest show on earth.”
