Ahead of his massive North American tour this year, Roger Waters is currently in the studio crafting his third studio album and first since 1992’s Amused to Death, and the legendary Pink Floyd bassist is getting some help with veteran Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich. Waters shared a video clip today of the two in the studio, with Waters on bass and Godrich at the switchboard helm.

As JamBase notes, Waters discussed his new studio work with Rolling Stone back when he announced the tour dates, detailing a bit of his and Godrich’s collaborative writing process and how one of the album’s themes will be love.

The short preview harkens back to some classic Pink Floyd, with Rogers laying down an intricate, funky bassline below some crisp drum and guitar. Watch the clip below via Waters’ Instagram.
