Del McCoury will welcome a host of artists back to DelFest this summer as the Cumberland, MD festival will play host to Trey Anastasio Band (two sets), Gov’t Mule, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, Hot Rize, Steep Canyon Rangers, Jeff Austin Band, Cabinet and many others.

As usual, The Del McCoury Band and Travelin’ McCourys will also headline the proceedings, with the Travelin’ McCourys welcoming special guest Dierks Bentley for a collaborative performance as well. Another collaboration taking place at DelFest this year includes Bela Fleck and Punch Brothers’ Chris Thile, who will play a duo set.

Anastasio’s return to DelFest marks his first since 2013, where he welcomed Del, Ronnie and Rob McCoury as well as Jason Carter for a number of tunes throughout the night including “I’m Blue, I’m Lonesome,” “Beauty of My Dreams,” “Heavy Things” and Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog.” The McCourys have been longtime collaborators with Anastasio and Phish, joining the band in Tennessee during their 2000 summer tour. The Del McCoury Band also popped up during a TAB show on February 25, 2010 for a few tunes as well.

DelFest is slated for May 25-28 in Cumberland, MD. Tickets are available here.
