As previously announced, Nigel Hall Band will host Brooklyn is Motown at Brooklyn Bowl on March 1, a night that will highlight the classic tunes of the Detroit label’s heyday, along with a special tribute to one of it’s biggest stars.

Hall and his band will be playing all of Marvin Gaye’s seminal 1971 album What’s Going On for one set, with another set filled with Motown favorites. Remember Jones will also be performing, plus a collection of special guests.

More information on the event can be found here. Below, watch Hall join Ivan Neville, Tony Hall and Eric Bloom for a cover of Gaye’s “Inner City Blues” from What’s Going On during Neville’s solo set on this year’s Jam Cruise.
