In January 2016, Black Sabbath embarked on their “The End” farewell tour with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler touring around the world one last time. The tour came to a close last night in the band’s hometown of Birmingham, England with a career-spanning set that capped the metal kings’ immense career.

Starting with the self-titled track to their self-titled 1970 debut, Black Sabbath hit the ground running for a set that would include some of their biggest songs like “War Pigs,” “Iron Man” and “Children of the Grave” before saying goodbye with “Paranoid.”

While last night may have represented the final show in the band’s career, both Iommi and Butler have expressed interests in another one-off gig or another album somewhere down the line, but Osbourne mentioned numerous times on stage (according to Rolling Stone’s report) that this would be the last Black Sabbath show.
