Jason Isbell appears ready to announce his forthcoming studio album as a teaser video posted featuring Isbell in the studio with his band, including wife Amanda Shires, and producer Dave Cobb, who helmed Isbell’s previous efforts Southeastern and Something More Than Free.

Isbell previously hinted that production had begun on his next record via social media, but this marks the first official word of the album.

While we await a formal announcement, Isbell will hit the road with his band, beginning this weekend in Mexico at The Avett Brothers’ destination event and continuing into March and April with dates across the country. Consult the full schedule here.
