War On Drugs Offshoot Nightlands Announce New Album ‘I Can Feel the Night Around Me’

War On Drugs bassist Dave Hartley has announced he will release the third album from his project Nightlands, I Can Feel the Night Around Me, on May 5 via Western Vinyl, along with a full band tour.

The new album follows up 2013’s Oak Island and was recorded in Hartley’s hometown of Philadelphia. Nightlands features Hartley’s heavily layered vocals, as can be heard on lead single from Around Me, “Lost Moon,” available for streaming below.
