Last night in Asheville, NC, Umphrey’s McGee kicked off their second annual Blue Ridge Rockway with special guests and openers Greensky Bluegrass for the first of two nights at ExploreAsheville.com Arena, and the two bands ended up trading sit ins during the night for a collaborative evening of music.

First up was Greensky Bluegrass, who welcomed out Umphrey’s keyboardist Joel Cummins for their own “In Control.” Later, Greensky would return the favor by lending Paul Hoffman and Anders Beck for a cover of Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs,” with Hoffman taking lead vocals and Beck providing some dobro. The tune appropriately led out of “Black Sabbath.” Watch a video of that collaboration above.

Check out the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Umphrey’s and Greensky return to ExploreAsheville.com Arena tonight for round two, and UM will also close out their Blue Ridge Rockway run at The Orange Peel tomorrow, February 19.
