Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds kicked off the first night of their acoustic destination event in Mexico as Matthews takes a year off from the Dave Matthews Band.

Sticking to more commonly played material in the Dave and Tim catalog, like Some Devil cuts “So Damn Lucky” and “Save Me,” as well as “Satellite,” “Crush” and “Lie in Our Graves,” the duo did dip into the new batch of Dave Matthews Band tunes including “Virginia in the Rain,” “Samurai Cop” and “Bismarck.”

Towards the end of the set, the duo revived “Eh Hee” for the first time since July 3, 2013 and the first Dave and Tim version since November 19, 2011. Following the performance, Matthews improvised a short tune called “Pretty Bird” on the official road setlist and DMBAlmanac deciphered some of the lyrics here.

Dave and Tim will return to the beach tonight.
