As announced yesterday afternoon, Bob Weir joined a special “Alone and Together” collaboration at his own Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA, last night, leading the collective on some Grateful Dead classics and tracks from his recent solo album, Blue Mountain.

Weir joined a band featuring his old Furthur bandmate Joe Russo, Kevin Morby, Sam Cohen, Blue Mountain producer Josh Kaufman and Fruit Bats’ Eric D. Johnson. The group ran through Weir’s solo cuts “Only A River” and “Lay My Lily Down,” along with the traditional and Weir favorite “Peggy-O” and the Dead’s “Bird Song” and “Stella Blue.”
