The String Cheese Incident kicked off their Winter Carnival tour last night with the first of two shows at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO, and the night turned into a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the band’s first ever live album, A String Cheese Incident, which was recorded at the Fox on February 27, 1997.

The second half of the show was a full recreation of that entire live album, from SCI’s version of “Lonesome Fiddle Blues” to the encore of Aerosmith’s “Walk This Way,” marking the first appearance of the cover since July 2013. The album recreation also featured the first “Pirates” since December 2011.

Below, watch the beginnings of the first and second sets, including the first “Chili Dawg” since July 2011, which opened up the evening, along with the full setlist as it appears in our “Box Scores”: section.

String Cheese Incident return to the Fox stage tonight to wrap up their Boulder run before heading to Aspen’s Belly Up on March 7–8.
