Legendary guitarist and musician Chuck Berry is reportedly dead at the age of 90.

St. Charles County Police Department posted a notice on Facebook that detailed a call they received at approximately 12:40 PM today. “First responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques,” the note read. Berry was identified and pronounced dead at 1:26 PM.

Chuck Berry was born in St. Louis, MO in 1926 and went on to a legendary and influential career in music, crafting iconic tunes like “Johnny B. Goode” while playing with the likes of Muddy Waters and influencing Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and others. Berry was slated to release a new album Chuck this year.
