Phil Lesh rounded out his three-night stint at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre last night, bookending a run that kicked off earlier this week on his 77th birthday. As with the previous nights, Lesh was joined by vocalist Joan Osborne, guitarists Stanley Jordan and John Kadlecik, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and drummer Mark Levy.

Lesh kicked the night off by leading the way on “Cold Rain and Snow” before Osborne took over on “Alabama Getaway.” Kadlecik later led the way on “Candyman” and “He’s Gone” before the set closed out with “Casey Jones.”

Set two began with Kadlecik singing “Dear Mr. Fantasy” and also featured Dead staples like “St. Stephen,” “Morning Dew” and a few choice covers of “All Along the Watchtower” and “In the Midnight Hour,” plus an instrumental cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” led by Jordan that featured some holiday-appropriate Irish jig melody. The run was then wrapped up with an encore of “U.S. Blues.”

See the setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section, along with the nugs.tv streams of both set openers.
