Last night at Belly Up in Aspen, CO, Greensky Bluegrass brought their tour into town for a unique show that saw the band run through their new album, Shouted, Written Down & Quoted in its entirety for the first set and follow it up with a set of almost all covers in the second frame.
After the Shouted set, which played every song from the album, in order, Greensky kicked off their second set with “Casual Wednesday” before beginning a run of covers that included the Allman Brothers Band’s “One Way Out,” Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved,” JJ Kale’s “After Midnight,” two Bob Dylan tunes, the Grateful Dead’s “Eyes of the World,” Billy Joel’s “Big Shot and Prince’s “When Doves Cry.” The encore continued the trend with Eddie Rabbit’s “Driving My Life Away” before the night rounded out with Greensky’s own “Kerosene.”
See the full setlist below. Greensky continue their tour tonight at The Depot in Salt Lake City, UT.
