New venue Brooklyn Steel will open its doors next month with a headlining set from Brooklyn’s own LCD Soundsystem, who have announce they will be playing five shows at the venue throughout the month.

James Murphy and company will play Brooklyn Steel, the largest general admission music space in the borough, beginning on April 6, with subsequent performances coming on April 7, 8, 10 and 11.

Tickets to the shows will go on sale this Thursday, March 30, at noon EST online, with a limited number of tickets available at other Bowery Presents New York venues Mercury Lounge and Music Hall of Williamsburg, with lines forming at 11am EST.

LCD Soundsystem made their long-awaited return to the stage a year ago, starting with an intimate New York show that led to multiple festival headlining slots and more. Murphy has previously said that he hopes to record with the band as part of the current reunion.
