England’s Slowdive will return this year with their first new album in 22 years, a self-titled effort that is set for release on May 5 via Dead Oceans. The band has also released a new single, “Sugar for the Pill,” the second from the new record.

In addition, Slowdive will be streaming a surprise performance live tomorrow from The Garage in London via their Facebook. The venue was the last place the band played in the city with their original lineup in 1993. The stream is set to start tomorrow, March 29, at 4:10pm ET.

Slowdive released their last album, Pygmalion, in 1995 and subsequently went their separate ways. The band announced a reunion in 2014, with new music on the way.
