Lockn’ Festival’s week of lineup additions continues today with the announcement that Bob Weir will be joining his old friend Phil Lesh at the festival, when the Grateful Dead bandmates team up with The Terrapin Family Band to perform the Dead’s album Terrapin Station in full.

The performance will come as part of Lesh and The Terrapin Family Band’s continuing celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s landmark year in 1977, which included the release of Terrapin Station. Weir, Lesh and TFB also recently played a bar show together at Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads.

Weir joins other Lockn’ additions from this week, The Disco Biscuits John Fogerty, Antibalas, Blackberry Smoke, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Hiss Golden Messenger, Moonalice, The Record Company and Sinkane. This year’s lineup also features Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, The Avett Brothers, Umphrey’s McGee, moe., Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Gov’t Mule, Greensky Bluegrass, TAUK, The Revivalists and many more.

All Lockn’ information is available at the festival’s website.
