Warren Haynes and Don Was’ traveling tribute to the legendary final concert from The Band, The Last Waltz 40 Tour, is hitting its final leg of shows, and along with previously announced guest Garth Hudson, iconic blues musician Taj Mahal will also be joining the tour for the remaining dates.

Mahal and Hudson, who is one of the two surviving Band members, will join Haynes, Was, Dr. John, Jamey Johnson, Terence Higgins, Danny Louis and Mark Mullins and his horn section, along with special guests Cyril Neville, Dave Malone and Bob Margolin. Blackbird Presents, who organized the original Last Waltz 40 show, along with past tribute to Dr. John and the Neville Brothers at Jazz Fest, recently announced another tribute to Little Feat’s classic live album Waiting for Columbus, featuring many of the Last Waltz tribute members.
