Umphrey’s McGee wrapped up their three-night run at Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater with a show that saw them drop in a few long lost covers including those from The Police, Radiohead and The Verve.

The surprises came in the first set when Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi” closed the set as Kris Myers led the band on the first version of the tune since August 18, 2016.

In the second set, an inventive “Plunger” sequence that included a foray into the UM rarity “Kula” also featured the first rendition of The Police’s “Voices in My Head” since October 6, 2010, marking a 684-show absence. “Mulche’s Odyssey” contained a brief foray into Bob Marley’s “Burnin’ and Lootin’” and The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony,” typically reserved for a mashup with the band’s own “Hajimemashite,” closed the second set with just the second full version of all time and first since 2014.

Umphrey’s McGee’s tour continues April 19 at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK.
