Besides a career-spanning acoustic compilation he released last fall and some collaborations, not much material has come out of the Jack White camp in some time. Today, however, the former White Stripes frontman has shared a new track via his Third Man Records, “Battle Cry.”

The driving, guitar-riff-fueled tune, which is nearly all instrumental save some scattered vocals and recurring “Hey!” accents. The track was made in conjunction with Warstic, the baseball bat company White is involved with. “Battle Cry” has been dubbed the “Official Warstic Anthem” and will be included in the soundtrack for the company’s upcoming short film, War Cry: The Battle of the Hawk and the Raven, which will premiere tomorrow, April 8, at the Detroit Tigers game against the Boston Red Sox.

Listen to the new tune, which will also serve as the Tigers’ Ian Kinsler’s walk-up music, below.
