Yesterday evening, Phil Lesh hosted a backyard show at his Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA, welcoming a special group of Friends that included his former Grateful Dead bandmate Bob Weir, who fronted the band and helped Lesh and company roll through several Dead favorites and more.

The band, which consisted of Lesh, Weir, Grahame Lesh, Scott Law and Jason Crosby, kicked off with a Weir-led “Playing in the Band” before everyone chimed in on vocals for “The Wheel.” The Dead guitarist would also take lead vocals on “Big River,” “Feel Like a Stranger,” “Liberty,” “Cassidy” and the set-closing cover of The Beatles’ “Dear Prudence.” Lesh led the way on “Mountain of the Moon,” while the evening also included a full-band singalong “Uncle John’s Band.”
