The long-awaited Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip will be screened in theaters across the country on May 25 for one night only ahead of its limited release in New York and Los Angeles on May 26.

In all, over 50 venues all around the nation will screen the film, including the previously announced showing at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre. See the full list here. These screenings join separate showings at Red Rocks and Mill Valley, CA, the latter of which will come on May 14 and will precede an after-party with Steve Kimock at the nearby Sweetwater Music Hall.

Long Strange Trip was directed by Amir Bar-Lev and executive produced by Martin Scorsese and features never-before-seen footage of the band and interviews with its members and more. Bob Weir also worked closely with the film’s creators to bring the documentary and its music to life. Long Strange Trip will be available via Amazon Prime starting June 2.
