The recent and long-awaited release of the Grateful Dead’s legendary 5/8/77 performance at Cornell University’s Barton Hall, along with the accompanying box set, have garnered the band two spots in Billboard‘s top 15 albums chart.

Coming in at #10 is the Cornell ’77 release, while Dead.net’s 11-disc box set Get Shown the Light, which includes the Cornell show along with other performances from that month in New Haven, CT, Boston and Buffalo, NY, comes in at #15. All of the recordings were taken from tapes made by iconic Dead taper Betty Cantor-Jackson.

The two top-15 slots mark the highest-charting Grateful Dead releases in 30 years. Both titles are now available physically and for download over at Dead.net.
