After soliciting votes for an album to play in its entirety at their very own Solid Sound Festival this June, Wilco has tallied the votes and will perform their second album, Being There, in full the Friday of their Solid Sound event.

In an interview with Jambands.com, Wilco’s Nels Cline spoke on the voting, suspecting that the group’s classic Yankee Hotel Foxtrot would emerge victorious. “I would say it would be interesting to do Being There,” he noted. “But I would probably pick The Whole Love. It would be fun to play Sky Blue Sky because it was the first record Pat and I did, because there are songs on that record that we love, that Wilco audience members don’t seem to be so in love with.”

Released in 1996 as a follow up to Wilco A.M., Being There includes tunes like “Misunderstood,” “Outtaside (Outta Mind),” “Sunken Treasure” and many rare tunes by today’s Wilco standards.

Solid Sound kicks off June 23 in North Adams, MA. Tickets are available here.
