This year’s Lockn’ Festival will feature a number of special guests as Bob Weir will join The Avett Brothers to reprise their collaboration that started at Mountain Jam in 2014 and continued later that year at Red Rocks.

Also newly announced is the addition of Heart’s Ann Wilson, who will join Gov’t Mule during their set. Nicki Bluhm will join Phil Lesh, Weir and the Terrapin Family Band for a special celebration of the 40th anniversary of Terrapin Station. Moonalice’s set will also feature Jorma Kaukonen.

Additionally, Garcia’s Forest has been expanded to feature a replica of Terrapin Station. The Porch at Terrapin Station will host nightly performances that includes Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Midnight North and Nicole Atkins Band. In the mornings, the “Piano on the Porch” series will feature Melvin Seals, Holly Bowling and Mule’s Danny Louis in an intimate setting.

The festival is also unveiling new procedural improvements, including an improved layout at Infinity Downs Farm, the new home of the festival. There will also be better accessibility to campsites, additional shade, misting stations and improved traffic flow.

Lockn’ will return once again to Arrington, VA from August 24-27 with a lineup that includes Widespread Panic, Umphrey’s McGee, The Avett Brothers, John Fogerty, The String Cheese Incident, The Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Keller Williams, Jim James, The Revivalists, Margo Price, Brandi Carlile, John Butler Trio and many others.
