Rhino is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic Summer of Love this year with a series of reissued vinyl and compilation offerings, kicking off with a collection of Grateful Dead songs, Smiling on a Cloudy Day.

The new Dead compilation features ten tracks from the band’s earlier days, including classics like “St. Stephen,” “Dark Star,” “China Cat Sunflower,” “That’s It for the Other One” and “Morning Dew.” Smiling on a Cloudy Day will be available on July 11, along with releases from Peter Paul & Mary, Love, The Young Rascals and more.

Also set for release this summer include offerings from Aretha Franklin, The Monkees, Arlo Guthrie, Tim Buckley and more, plus a 1967 compilation titled Gettin’ Together: Groovy Sounds of the Summer of Love.
