Umphrey’s McGee resumed their touring schedule with a stop in Augusta, GA last night featuring The Marcus King Band. The group welcomed out the frontman of their opening act in their second set and paid tribute to one of their personal favorite bands at the end of the show.

King emerged for a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” in the second set before the closing combination of “Resolution” and the conclusion of “Bridgeless.”

At the end of the show, the band nodded to the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with a debut of the title track’s reprise that emerged out of “Triple Wide” to close the show. The band also walked off to “A Day in the Life.”
