The Who’s Pete Townshend will team up with Billy Idol and tenor Alfie Boe for a classical rendition of the band’s iconic Quadrophenia album for four shows in the U.S. this September.

Dubbed Classic Quadrophenia, the run will make its U.S. debut in Lenox, MA on September 2 before two nights at the New York Metropolitan Opera House from September 9-10. The finale comes in Los Angeles on September 16 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

“I’m thrilled to be bringing Classic Quadrophenia stateside through the month of September,” Townshend said. “Melding the contrasting sounds of Quadrophenia with a symphony has been a really unique and powerful way to reach a wide audience of classical and pop music lovers alike. I couldn’t be more excited to see it continue in the U.S.”

Public on-sale begins June 13 here.
