Widespread Panic will return to Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre with a three-night run next weekend, and the band, who currently hold the record for sold-out shows at the iconic venue, have shared a recording of their very first show at Red Rocks almost 26 years ago.
The show took place on September 14, 1991 and featured a relatively short seven-song set, as the band shared the lineup with Blues Traveler and Acoustic Junction. The restored two-track recording from that night is now available here.
Widespread Panic play Red Rocks June 23–25, and all three nights of the run will be available for streaming.
