Eddie Vedder was flown in secret to Cannes Lions for an intimate set that featured his tourmate Glen Hansard.
As the New York Post reports, the show was a part of a yearly tradition held at Villa Alang Alang that last year featured a rare acoustic set from Dave Grohl.
Vedder rolled through a number of Pearl Jam cuts like “Elderly Woman” and “I Am Mine” as well as covers of The Clash’s “Should I Stay Or Should I Go.” Hansard emerged for a cover of The Swell Season’s “Falling Slowly” and his own “Song of Good Hope” before Vedder handled the “Porch” closer.
Vedder’s tour of Europe continues tomorrow night in Florence, Italy.
