Umphrey’s McGee welcomed a number of guests on their second of three shows at Red Rocks as the band teamed up with members of Snarky Puppy as well as frequent collaborator Roosevelt Collier.

While the band played a majority of the first set by themselves, they did bring out Snarky Puppy horn players Mike Maher and Chris Bullock for a popular tune with horns, “Bad Friday,” to close the first set. Their fellow Snarky Puppy bandmates Nate Werth and Robert “Sput” Searight then helped Umphrey’s open the second set with a lengthy “JaJunk.”

Collier joined in following that collaboration for “Hajimemashite.”

During a 2015 visit to Miami, Umphrey’s teamed up with Collier for performances of “Much Obliged” and “Glory” and have previously teamed up with Werth and Sput during a guest-filled set aboard Jam Cruise in early 2015.

Umphrey’s McGee return to Red Rocks tonight for their third and final night.
