Delicate Steve hit the stage at the Brooklyn Bowl for a set that included a number of special guests including Joe Russo, who played in the opening band with Band of Changes featuring his Almost Dead bandmate Scott Metzger.

Russo emerged during Delicate Steve’s set for a number of tunes including “Sugar Splash,” “Help” and “Tallest Heights,” all Steve originals. They also covered Tame Impala’s hit “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards” before Russo exited and the Delicate Stee trio ran through a cover medley of “Rumble,” “Summertime Blues,” “Tutti Frutti” and “My Generation.”

Eliot Krimsky of Here We Go Magic then joined on keys for “Don’t Get Stuck (Proud Elephants),” “Driving,” “Tomorrow” and “Positive Force,” another string of Steve originals. Later on, the band’s encore also featured Krimsky as well as Rubblebucket’s Alex Toth and Reptar’s Walter Fancourt on horns for the finale of “Wally Wilder.”
