Bob Weir will be one of the featured speakers at the Social Good Summit in New York held annually during the United Nations General Assembly week.

Slated for September 17 at the 92nd Street Y, the summit aims to trace the intersection of technology and new media through the scope of exploring a sustainable world in the year 2030. The summit’s theme this year is #2030NOW as they come together to use technology for a better world.

Weir has long been an advocate for social good, not just through his work in the Grateful Dead but also as a founding board member of HeadCount.
