Creator of NBC comedy Community and co-founder of Rick and Morty Dan Harmon will bring author Kurt Vonnegut’s Sirens of Titan to television, completing a journey to adapt the 1959 sci-fi novel originally started by Jerry Garcia.

Vonnegut sold the film rights to Garcia in the 1980s but the Grateful Dead guitarist passed away before he could realize his vision to bring Vonnegut’s work to the big screen. Vonnegut repurchased the rights following Garcia’s death and a few others tried to adapt the book but never did.

As CinemaBlend reports, the series is in production but there are no other confirmed details about the show available as of yet.
