Gov’t Mule continued their tour with Galactic in Raleigh, NC last night and once again the band welcomed out a member of the opening band as Ben Ellman joined the group at various points throughout their show.

Ellman first emerged on “Lay Your Burden Down” early on in the set, which forayed into “Smokestack Lightning” before returning to the original song. Ellman then returned in the encore for the finale, a jam out of “The Other One” following “Fallen Down.”

Previously, Mule teamed up with Galactic drummer Stanton Moore and Ellman on Jerry Garcia’s birthday, as the ensemble teamed up for “Dark Star” and “Morning Dew” as well as “Dear Prudence.”
