Gov’t Mule brought their tour with Galactic to Boston’s Blue Hill Bank Pavilion last night. And while several of their previous shows featured sit ins from the opening band, this time around Mule opted to welcome trumpeter Doug Woolverton for an extended jam.

The sit in came about halfway through the set, when Warren Haynes and company brought out Woolverton on “Sco-Mule,” which featured Haynes and Woolverton trading off fast-paced solos. Watch a video of that collaboration above. The set also featured Mule’s cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “If 6 Was 9,” along with some classic tunes mixed with cuts from their recent album, Revolution Come, Revolution Go.

See the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Next up for Gov’t Mule is a slot at Peach Music Festival today before they get back on the road with Galactic at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE tomorrow night.
