Bob Weir and Phil Lesh teamed up at Terrapin Crossroads along with the Terrapin Family Band for their first of two collaborations this month as the ensemble gets together later this month at Lockn’ to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Terrapin Station.

The warmup gig included tunes like “Feel Like a Stranger” as well as a couple of Weir selections like “Gonesville,” “Only a River” and “Lay My Lily Down.” The group also dipped into classics like “Uncle John’s Band,” “Jack Straw,” “Bird Song,” “Throwing Stones,” “Not Fade Away” and the finale of “Brokedown Palace.”

Weir and Lesh will reconvene at Lockn’ in Arrington, VA.
