Dark Star Orchestra have added a batch of fall tour dates and announced that they will be rounding out this year with a “Cosmic New Year’s Eve” run in New Jersey and Philadelphia, which will include a couple special guest openers.

The new dates kick off November 10 in Montclair, NJ, followed by the band’s 20th anniversary show on November 11 at the Palace Theater in Albany, NY. The tour also includes a stop at Washington, DC’s yet-to-open venue The Anthem on December 2, when DSO will recreate the Grateful Dead’s June 14, 1991 performance at R.F.K Stadium.

The band’s Cosmic New Year’s Run begins with another Montclair show on December 28 before a three-night stand at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory, where they will be joined by Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Keller Williams on the first and second night, respectively, and will ring in the new year with three sets on December 31.
