After missing The String Cheese Incident’s Oregon show due to an illness a few days ago, Bill Nershi has provided an update on his condition in a note posted to his Facebook page which attributed the illness to benign positional vertigo.

The guitarist and singer explains that the condition, which affects the inner ear, caused “the sensation that things were moving when they weren’t” but that a treatment to fix the inner ear issue was successful.

“[The doctor] said there is now absolutely no danger in flying,” Nershi continues. “I am good to go!!!! See ya at Lockn’ this weekend!” Nershi and SCI will be playing two sets of music tomorrow evening, trading stage time with Umphrey’s McGee for day one of Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, VA.
