Railroad Earth and Greensky Bluegrass Collaborate in New Hampshire

Last night, Railroad Earth and Greensky Bluegrass played a co-bill in Hampton Beach, NH, with Greensky filling in for moe., who are on hiatus due to Rob Derhak’s cancer treatment. The two bluegrass outfits came together for a collaborative encore to close out the night.

As JamBase reports, after Greensky’s opening set, Railroad Earth came out for their headlining performance with keyboardist Matt Slocum helping out throughout. After their own set, RRE returned for the encore with Greensky’s Paul Hoffman, Dave Bruzza, Mike Bont and Anders Beck. The collective ran through a cover of Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved” and RRE’s own “Long Way to Go.” Watch a clip of the Marley cover via Instagram below.

RRE and Greensky share the stage again tomorrow night at the Sherman Theater Summer Stage in Mount Pocono, PA.
