Thievery Corporation drummer Congo Sanchez has joined the bill for this Friday’s DJ Logic + Phriends show. The performance will take place at Denver’s Knew Conscious Gallery after Phish’s performance in Commerce City, CO. Logic’s Phriends for the night include bassist Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), guitarist Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds) and keyboardist/programmer Borahm Lee (Break Science/Pretty Lights Live Band).

The DJ Logic + Phriends Phish Afterparty is a members-only event. According to the evening’s promoters, “You will need to become a member of Knew Conscious Collective to enter. To pre-register for a membership, sign-up online here or send an email to [email protected] and put “MEMBERSHIP” in the subject line. Admission to the show requires attendees to register as a member and give a $25 donation to the Knew Conscious Gallery. Once inside, new Conscious features a complimentary open bar with beverages and refreshments from doors to close. Please note, this is a 21+ ONLY event. Knew Conscious will be signing up new members at the door, so no need to sweat it if you’re not a member yet.” The event’s promoters have also partnered with J2G Live Destination to offer a special party bus from Dick’s to Knew Conscious Gallery. The late-night performance will stretch past the city’s traditional last call to 4:30am.

Brownstein will return to the space on Saturday for a DJ set with Big Gigantic’s Jeremy Salken. As Brownie explains, “Saturday night I will be playing with my favorite doubles partner, Jeremy Salken of Big Gigantic, in Tennis Jacket…I love playing my DJ sets with Jeremy on the drums. No city has been more supportive of my DJ project than Denver and no venue has invested more into it than the gallery! I’m excited to be with you for the weekend. We play very late, so when all the other venues are closed, and you’re looking for somewhere to party, come to the gallery and let’s dance!”
