U2 brought their Joshua Tree to Ford Field in Detroit where they collaborated with Patti Smith once again on the album’s closing track “Mothers of the Disappeared” to close out their full performance of the record. Watch the performance above.

Opening the show as Beck, who dedicated his Guero cut “Go It Alone” to Jack White. During the mega jam of the closing “Where It’s At” where Beck typically mixes in snippets of various covers, he nodded to the late Walter Becker with a tease of Steely Dan’s “Josie” as tribute.

U2 and Beck will continue their run tomorrow in Buffalo, NY at New Era Field.
