The second annual Meadows Festival kicked off at Citi Field in Queens last night, and this year’s lead-off headliner Jay-Z delivered a career-spanning performance that featured special guest Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley for two tunes.

Near the beginning of the set, Jay-Z welcomed out Marley for a collaboration on “Bam,” the song off his recent album 4:44 on which Marley sings as well. Marley stuck around after to sing his own hit “Welcome to JamRock,” with his bandmate waving the Lion of Judah flag, an important symbol in Rastafari, throughout.

Watch the collaboration above. The Meadows continues today with music from Gorillaz, M.I.A., TV On the Radio, Big Gigantic, Antibalas and more.
