Mumford & Sons brought their tour to New York City’s United Palace Theatre last night, and the band brought out a couple special guests for the evening.

After opening with several of their own tunes, Mumford & Sons brought out Brooklyn-based Kevin Garrett for a cover of Beyoncé‘s “Pray You Catch Me.” A couple songs later, the band welcomed Gill Landry, formerly of Old Crow Medicine Show, for Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer.” That was immediately followed by the band’s own “Awake My Soul” with guest Minke. After a couple stripped-down acoustic and a cappella tunes to end their set, Mumford & Sons returned for a four-song encore that featured their live debut of “When I Get My Hands On You,” written by Marcus Mumford for The New Basement Tapes.
