The inaugural MEMPHO Music Festival will come to Memphis, TN’s Shelby Farms Park next weekend, and just added to the event’s schedule is the Mempho All-Stars Play Dead late-night superjam, which will feature an array of musicians coming together to celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead and raise money for music history education in Memphis.

Set to play the offsite show, which will take place on October 6 at Minglewood Hall, are Steve Kimock, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Sipe, Wally Ingram, Ike Stubblefield, Peter Levin, Papa Mali, Eric McFadden, Eric Krasno, Robert Randolph, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, DJ Logic, Leslie Mendelson, Lamar Williams Jr. and MonoNeon. The event will help benefit the Learn to Rock program, which educates students in the Memphis community about the city’s musical history.

DJ Logic & Friends will open the show at 11:30pm, with the Mempho All-Stars going on at 12:30am. Tickets are available here.

MEMPHO Music Festival is set for October 6–7 in Shelby Farms Park, with music from Cage the Elephant, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, an all-star Stax tribute honoring Booker T Jones and Steve Cropper, Cold War Kids, Robert Randolph and The Family Band, Hard Working Americans and more.
